The Workshop on airway control, organized by the Faculty and the Graduate School of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, conducted by Prof. Felice Eugenio Agrò, is a theoretical and pratical course at an international level with simultaneous English-Italian-English translation.
The workshop began in 1998 quarterly (February, June, October and December) and with the partecipation of device inventors (A. Brain, D. Alfery, etc.) and leading international experts of "airway" (A. Ovassapian, P. Baskett, W. Rosenblatt, J. Doyle, etc.)
Objective
The workshop is designed to train patecipants in management of acute respiratory failure, applying the techniques and devices most credited and used in emergency situations and/or emergency.
Recipients
The workshop is aimed at doctors, nurses and first aid assistants, who wish to explore the peculiar issue of ventilation control and oxygenation in intra and extra hospital emergencies.
Number of seats
The workshop is restricted to a maximum of 50 partecipants. If applications for admission exceed the number of posts established a selection will be perform on basis of the curricula presented.
